Women's Cancer Fund

women’s cancer fund

Annual need: ,000

This year, more than 211,000 women in the United States will be diagnosed with breast cancer and another 10,000 will discover they have invasive cervical cancer. One-third of these will die. Ovarian cancer accounts for nearly 3 percent of all cancers among women, affecting more than 20,000 individuals, and causes more deaths than any other cancer because most often it is caught too late. The Women’s Cancer Fund helps sustain our ability to provide the research needed to fight breast, ovarian and cervical cancer.
