Darrell B. Sims Matching Fund

Carlyle and Louann Sims lost their son, Darrell B. Sims, to cancer and have turned their grief into action.   In his memory, they launched the Darrell B. Sims $ 100,000 Matching Grant Challenge at the Purdue Center for Cancer Research.  They hope to inspire you and others to invest generously in the research happening right here at Purdue.

This new matching grant doubles your gift! For every dollar you give today to cancer research will be matched by an additional dollar from the Sims Matching Grant, doubling the value of your gift and making more research dollars available for cancer research.  To qualify for this unique opportunity, we must raise $ 100,000 that will be matched to created $ 200,000.

Because cancer kills 1,500 Americans each day, it's crucial we seize this opportunity quickly. This boost is just what we need in this difficult economy, so please help drive progress in the fight against cancer: Send in your gift today to the Darrell B. Sims Matching Fund.

Continue to the Giving Page, select “Purdue Center for Cancer Research” under the Selection a Designation category and specify in the Other box that your gift is for the "Darrell B. Sims Matching Fund."
